Reward increased to $35,000 in Balbir Singh Dhami murder case

Last year, Balbir Singh Dhami was shot and killed at his home in Sacramento, California. To date, no one has been arrested for the murder. More Sikh victims of violence in California

A strange phenomenon has been occuring in northern California where reports of violence against Sikhs (both hate-motivated and otherwise) are becoming more common. Police release suspect sketch in Balbir Singh Dhami murder case

Police in Sacramento, California have released a sketch of the suspect in the murder of Balbir Singh Dhami  and new photos of the suspect’s vehicle. Sacramento, California Gurdwara contributes reward in search of attacker of gay man

Police describe getaway vehicle in Balbir Singh Dhami murder case

Police in Sacramento, California, are continuing their investigation into the murder of Balbir Singh Dhami and have released a description of the suspected getaway vehicle: Sacramento police today released the description of the suspected getaway car in the killing of 53-year-old Balbir Singh Dhami. The suspected getaway car is described as a 1990s, gold, four-door Mazda Protégé or 323. UPDATE: Two more Sikhs shot in Elk Grove, California

Over the past day or so, more details have emerged over yesterday’s shootings of Sikhs in Elk Grove, California.  The identity of the male victim was confirmed by police as Balbir Singh Dhami, 53, who did not survive.  His wife is in critical condition in the hospital.
