In Vancouver, Washington (not to be confused with Vancouver, BC, Canada), an athletic club that was in the process of being renovated for use as a Gurdwara burned to the ground early this morning:

VANCOUVER, Wash. – Fire swept through a Sikh temple and school that was under construction in Vancouver early Friday morning. Two workers who were asleep in the complex escaped without injury.

The Guru Ram Das Church essentially burned to the ground. The building is located on NE 20th Street close to Evergreen High School.

It is considered a total loss. The cause of the fire is not known and is being investigated. Fortunately, it is reported that no one was injured. Read more, and see more photos, at KATU.com.
