“I feel like I fell into a good thing,” he said. “I think they have a good idea with their independent spirit.” — Ronald Swan, 63, who lives next door to the Sikh Centre and serves as the property’s land surveyor.
“There’s a pretty diverse group of people,” he said. “They’re good people.” — Steven Osborn of Redding, who led the parade on his motorcycle. Osborn, who is not a member of the Sikh faith, said he always participates in the yearly celebration, and he enjoys seeing people from all religions coexist at the event.
Sikhs around Redding, California, took part in their parade yesterday. Check out photos and the full story in their local newspaper.
