American Sikh plays in the NCAA

Dipanjot Singh plays for the UIC Flames basketball team, and recently participated in the NCAA basketball tournament.

Dipanjot Singh plays college basketball for the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) Flames, in the NCAA’s Horizon League. While it is not unexpected to see a Sikh play in college athletics, that Dipanjot Singh has done so while maintaining the articles of his Sikh faith is remarkable.
