Last year, Balbir Singh Dhami was shot and killed at his home in Sacramento, California. To date, no one has been arrested for the murder. It was announced today that the reward for tips that lead to the arrest of the suspect has been increased to $35,000 :

Friends and family of a man killed inside his Sacramento home last year said they are adding $10,000 to the $25,000 reward they had already offered.

Sacramento police said Balbir Dhami was shot to death just inside his front door around 10 a.m. on May 19, 2011.

Police identified a possible suspect and suspect vehicle, but have not made any arrests in the case.

“We have two officers in homicide assigned to the case, and they are actively pursuing new leads,” said Michelle Gigante, of the Sacramento Police Department.
